School for Rural Children

The lack of infrastructure and resources in rural schools hinders the development of otherwise talented children in the villages. To overcome this gap between need and feed, we have set up a school in the hills of Uttarakhand, so that the students of neighbouring villages can benefit from it.

About Timli Vidyapeeth

Shri Timli Sanskrit Pathshala (Now Shri Timli Vidyapeeth) founded in 1882 by Badri Datt Dabral and Damodar Dabral, was the first recognized and Government-aided Sanskrit School of United Provinces in the Garhwal, Himalayas (present Uttarakhand).

It produced hundreds of Vedic scholars between 1920 and 1949. (Shankaracharya of Joshimath Peeth, Pt. Vaani Vilash, Pt. Shri Vilash)
First primary education center in Garhwal Himalayas that offers a Robotics training program.
First school of Uttarakhand that got an opportunity to connect with the International Space Station (ISS).
The school today has around 20 students from the neighboring villages.

Maangal Charitable Trust Adopts Shri Timli Vidyapeeth

Maangal Charitable Trust has been working for the upliftment of underprivileged children, with malnutrition being the prime focus.

In association with Shri Timli Trust, we are now embarking on a new venture of creating a school that focuses on the all-round development of rural children.
We are adopting the legendary 140 year old Shri Timli Vidyapeeth in Devikhet to convert it into a one of a kind institution, to provide rural students with world class education free of cost.
